The most interesting part about the chapter was how Wheelan described our political system making decisions as "not just about how many people care one way or another; it's how
much they care." We tend to think of things in a democracy as being pretty much just being decided by the majority vote. However, it makes sense to me that with lobbying and other aggressive strategies small interest groups can take, a groups willingness and ability to wield force can be way more impact flu than just their number.
